SuperBark featured at the SSbD24 Conference, showcasing the safe and sustainability assessment framework used within the project.
The SuperBark project was introduced during SSbD24, held between 10-15 November 2024, in Monte Verità, Switzerland.
The SSbD24 Conference brings together experts from various relevant fields and sectors who have started to work on specific methods, tools and criteria to enable the actual use of Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) framework. Participants, including industry professionals and value chain actors, shared their experiences in applying the SSbD framework through case studies. Regulators also provided insights into operationalizing the framework and addressing related policy requirements.
At the event, Panagiotis Isigonis, WP5 Leader from Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), presented the talk titled: “Early-stage application of the SSbD framework – Successes, considerations, and obstacles.” The presentation highlighted key SSbD work from SuperBark and ZeroF, another Horizon project where LIST oversees SSbD assessments.
